In 1953, Geneva Manufacturing first started engineering and manufacturing casket hardware. For more than half a century, Geneva Manufacturing has been an industry leader in providing high quality casket hardware with prompt service at a competitive price to manufacturers internationally.  We started the casket hardware business with a line of hand-poured zinc designs and led the industry with the following: M1, M24, M58, and M71.

In 1971, the industry began to change.  Our customers were looking to cut cost from the current use of electroplating.  After analyzing the cost savings for our customers, we started vacuum metallizing, which helped our customers' bottom line. Using our existing product lines and/or products sent from outside sources, we started metallizing and finishing products to meet our customer needs at lower cost.

In 1977, Geneva Manufacturing led the industry by introducing polycarbonate designs.  In order to provide our customers with the best casket hardware, several different material options were considered.  We selected polycarbonate as the material of choice, because it offered our customers one of the strongest materials for casket hardware.  There is substantial cost savings to our customer versus the hand-poured zinc. Geneva Manufacturing has prided itself over the years to be able to meet the demands and changes that occur in our industry. We are able to work with our customers on an individual basis, and will exhaust all resources to meet their needs.  That is why Geneva Manufacturing remains a very flexible and progressive organization.
